Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke

The Yirgacheffe region is known for unique flavor profiles, but coffee from the Koke washing station is extra special. Koke is a small district in the Yirgacheffe region with elevations as high as 2300M, allowing for concentrated sweetness and complex flavours. Dry processed, sun dried on raised beds & hand sorted. This heirloom Yirgacheffe has light acidity, a juicy body, notes of blueberry, with winey citrus/orange & a chocolate finish.

Coffee cupping, or coffee tasting, is the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. We roast each bean batch to enhance their flavour profiles. After small batch sampling at different roast levels for each variety, we believe the following beans are best enjoyed when roasted medium.
